Karma and Bees

so, at my favorite website - it seems as if i've been told i'm going to have some bad karma.

this is because i am having an exterminator come tonight to deal with our wasp issue in the eaves of our house, especially by the front door.....AND the wood bees who are boring dime size round holes in the decorative cedar fronting on our house.

the holes weren't there friday. and there were 12 saturday.

the wasps are finding their way into our front door.

i'm willing to take on the bad karma to save our home from these pests. i don't care how "evil" or UN-P.C. i seem.

karma, shmarma. c'mon.

Bad karma? I don't think so. Protecting your investment isn't optional.

As for the carpenter bees, maybe put some cedar out in the yard (away from the house) somewhere for them. They are still effective pollinators - i.e., "good" bees.

And no worries.

We had carpenter bees at our home in Illinois. They stuck to chewing into the arbor over our deck. No problem. Then we had carpenter bees in NJ, right after we'd replaced all the windows. Left one open one day - and the bee chewed a lovely, perfect hole right in the inside casing.

I was quick with the chemical spray that day.

You're not evil. Well, as far as I know, anyway. *hug*

thank you, bhd. i appreciate that. i really do.

i agree. we're TRYING to protect our investment. and want to enjoy our home.

safely.

my mom is allergic to wasps/bees. so...with her coming next month, we had to do something about it.

i just hope it works.

Oh, I'm with you.. You have to protect yourselves and your home.. Wasps are bad news. My son is very allergic. I am so afraid of them, I go spastic when I see one..

don't listen to those bullies and those that have those karma comments to throw around don't understand the concept and will themselves have a dark cloud following them.
